Granular Newsletter

Editorial

Before I begin with this editorial, I want to apologize on behalf of Team Granular for team not being able to produce the newsletter for the last month (June). As we are a small team, we could not give enough time for all the parts of the newsletter for June due to our full attention towards the development & release of the test version of Esto Vello. But here we are back, with this newsletter for July. This second issue of the Granular Newsletter has been presented with a complete makeover of design to make it look good, more comprehensive and tidy. I hope you like this edition.

Last time I talked about the implementation of ease-of-use in the modern Linux distributions. With that in mind, Team Granular put some hard work and efforts to make the latest version of Granular as easy-to-use as possible. Granular v0.90 comes with many features that ease your work, like the Granular Scripts, Granular Handbook, carefully selected set of applications, and many customization options. With these, Granular becomes suitable for newbies and on the same time, very much usable for the regular Linux users. For the more experienced users, a DVD version of Granular is in development which is expected for release in late July. This DVD will be an extention of the current verion (0.90) with the addition of many software applications including developer tools and fun stuff. If you are a newbie or an intermediate Linux user, then don't worry, the DVD version will certainly suit you as good as the current CD version.

Happy Granular-ing
