Description: Azureus is a BitTorrent client written in Java. The BitTorrent protocol is a new way of exchanging or distributing data over the internet.
Installation: To install this latest version of Azureus, first remove the previous pre-installed version (2.5.0.4). Do this by opening up Konsole/Terminal and issuing the command “granular -r”. When asked about the package to be removed, type: azureus-2.5.0.4. When done, go to Menu > Applications > Granular > Install a grl. From the resultant dialog, navigate to the location of downloaded grl package and click on Open. That’s it.
