A few days ago, geminiguy proposed an idea of having a name for our artwork team (a part of Team Granular). Sure it was a nice idea and so, all the moderators and admins at Granular Community Forums were invited to take part in the discussion to come up with an appealing name.
Well, some good names came up, like VisiVox, Arse, EyeStorm, ShapeShifters, Luminati, and so on… These were the suggestions of the other mods. When I had a look at the last name, that I mentioned in the previous line, it just seemed to appeal me a lot. As next was my turn to give a suggestion, I came up with the name Granuminati, meaning:
Granular + luminati = Granuminati
This suggestion struck the rest of the mods and everyone agreed to it. And here we are, finally, with a nice name for our cute artwork team.

Mind you…calling an art team “Arse” would have been an eyeopener…hehehehe

The font used in this post actually depicts the word “Illuminati”. Anyway, thanks for the complement.
“Arse” was the idea of geminiguy himself, but Granuminati was the word which all the mods eventually agreed upon.
In my defense, it was never my idea to call the team Arse hehe (I suggested Shapeshifters & visualantes)
Ars is the latin word for artist, which closely resembles the nordik word Arse (as pointed out by one of our mods Aqua
